Ing. Jitka Volfová, Ph.D. studied International Trade and Commercial Communications, graduated with honours and was awarded a Master’s Degree from Prague University of Economics and Business. During her master studies she took part at the Roger Hatchuel Lions Academy in Cannes, France and spent a semester abroad at the University of Passau, Germany. She acquired her Ph.D. in the field of International Economic Relations with her thesis on “Cross-Cultural Management: Chinese Business Negotiation” at the Prague University of Economics and Business. As a visiting researcher she spent one semester at the Manchester Metropolitan University Business School, UK and 2 years at the Shanghai University and the Shanghai Jiaotong University in Shanghai, China. She closed her almost 3 year stay in Shanghai by participating in the World EXPO 2010 in Shanghai where she worked at the Czech Pavilion. Since 2009 she has worked at the University of Economics. She has also provided management and communication skills trainings in companies with a focus on cross-cultural management since 2011. Furthermore she gained a professional coach certification. As a visiting professor she held courses in Russia, USA, Austria and Ireland. Last but not least she is a mother of two.

 

 Ing. Jitka Volfová, Ph.D. estudió Comercio Internacional y Comunicación Comercial graduándose con honores, y continuó con la Maestría en la Universidad de Economía de Praga. Durante estos estudios, participó en la “Roger Hatchuel Lions Academy” en Cannes, Francia, y cursó un semestre en el extranjero en la Universidad de Passau, Alemania. Desarrolló sus estudios de doctorado en el campo de las Relaciones Económicas Internacionales y presentó su tesis sobre “La Gestión intercultural: negociación comercial china” en la Universidad de Economía, en Praga. Como investigadora visitante, pasó un semestre en la Escuela de Negocios de la Universidad Metropolitana de Manchester, Reino Unido, y dos años en la Universidad de Shanghai y la Universidad Jiaotong de Shanghai en China. Concluyó su estadía de casi 3 años en Shanghai participando en la EXPO Mundial 2010 en Shanghai, donde trabajó en el Pabellón de República Checa. Desde 2009 trabaja en la Universidad de Economía. También es formadora en habilidades de gestión y comunicación a empresas enfocadas en gestión intercultural. Además, es coach certificada en habilidades profesionales. Como profesora visitante impartió cursos en Rusia, Estados Unidos, Austria e Irlanda. Por último, pero no menos importante, es madre de dos hijos.
